Brand Identity

( Their story )

Formerly known as ‘The Young Professional’, who are a careers community for the next gen professional. Their mission is to help bring an end to the days of tired, stuffy, corporate events. They host in-person events, run an online magazine, have a podcast and host webinars. They were growing out of their old branding and after deciding to change their name, they wanted a new brand identity built around it.

( OUR APPROACH )

Through focusing on the meaning behind their name ‘The Careers Edit’, we explored the idea of looking at newspapers for layout and type inspiration. The concept of ‘editing’ your career coincided with the idea of editing newspapers and so their new brand slogan was born, ‘Be The Author Of Your Career’.

( BRAND IDENTITY )

We designed a fun and young brand mark to attract a younger and more dynamic demographic of professionals and built a fully fleshed out logo suite to provide alternate options they could use across various scenarios.

We drew inspiration from the icon in their logo design to craft six core brand icons. These icons are versatile across various branding touchpoints, ensuring instant recognition with their audience.
